Stains on phone covers

Ever asked yourself how to get sharpie off the phone case? Stains like sharpie markers are hard to remove off of a phone case. But not impossible.

Rubbing alcohol should be able to do the trick as ink dissolves in rubbing alcohol. Does the same process answer how to get permanent marker off a phone case?

It certainly does. The rubbing alcohol is available at any optical shop. You can repeat this process until you are satisfied. Usually takes about three wipedowns.

Dust and phone damage

Dust and dirt won’t get usually make their way inside your phone, especially if you have a phone case. But can dust damage your phone? It sure can as phone cases are not airtight. So how do I keep my phone dust-free? The best option would be to keep your phone case clean regularly.

Often lint from your pockets gets stuck in there or fluff inside your bag. Wiping it down now and then will prevent the dust from getting inside the cover and into your phone.

Why do clear phone cases turn yellow?

Have you ever stopped and wondered why do phone cases turn yellow?

When the case is exposed to UV it breaks down the molecule used to make the product it makes the process practically irreversible. Do all phone cases yellow? Practically yes, because it’s a natural process in clear plastic.

This along with humidity, heat, dust, and sweat all plays part in the wear and tear of a phone case. Constant exposure to heat will weaken the phone case and eventually after a very long time, it will disintegrate.

Many whitening agents have however been known to successfully aid the removal of yellow in the product. So how can I make my phone case clear again?

Well, there are quite a few easy steps that can be followed and I am happy to say, it is a cost-effective solution.
